Default drive shaft

I do not know if I'll be right here. Can somebody tell me why do I have a rusty drive shaft on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

Jeep was too cheap to coat it, so you just let it build up surface rust and let it ride. I took some Ospho to mine and it isn't rusty anymore.

That's normal on stock driveshafts.

Yes, it is normal. They rust, then the rust layer becomes the protective coating. Kind of like guard rails on the highway. I chose to paint mine. I did it will the Jeep was on jack stands and the engine was running in gear and 4-lo so that the spray was even and balanced.
