yea - he would rent the space out for a Fri-Sat weekend, create flyers and get good looking girls to post at various venues and hand them out everywhere - especially at other clubs on the weekend before.
There was always a fee, no alcohol so no liability and he usually had off-duty cops to help at the door etc... no under 18.
They did really well - I was always surprised at the number of people that would show up - crowds....

I'm a classic rock guy to the bone. Led Zeppelin second to none! Also love everything from the Stones, to Queen, to The Doors, to U2, to Gn'R, to The White Stripes. But for driving tunes, Southern Rock rules. Just to name a few, Outlaws - Green Grass and High Tides, Blackfoot - Train Train, Lynyrd Skynyrd - Call Me the Breeze, and pretty much anything by the Allman Brothers.
