Not by much! Both were bought right (essentially at true cost + $500).
Personally, after reading about the XVJP I am even happier about our decision. I think there is a good chance we may trade in for a diesel next summer though. We are using it much more than we initially thought we would (kind of the opposite of most) and a larger diesel unit might fit our group a bit easier now that both the older 2 are bringing interests along.

Yes, I have seen the XV-JP (JK) in person at Glacier National Park last Summer. They are definitely unique. You can view pricing if you click on Xpedition Vehicles at top of page, then pricing on the left. The JK version retails for around $110k BEFORE options. Ya, don't think i will be getting one this lifetime. The interior is very high quality and has a very european look. They have some neat features and really take advantage of space.
The Ford F550 version is around ~$230k BUT, it runs completely off of Diesel and solar power. That's motor, furnace, oven, fridge, AC, lights, everything is self sufficient.

That's including the Jeep as well. The price for the unit and conversion is $77K.
I have seen them, and they are truly extremely well designed. I do agree a bit expensive, but probably more geared toward companies than individuals.

Take a look at the pricing page. The price is:
2008 JK Rubicon Unlimited: $33,000
Earthromer Camper and Jeep Modification: $77,000
Base XP-JP BEFORE OPTIONS: $110,000
So, yes, the price is $77k, but that is without options.
