How many people have a Jeep as an every day driver instead of an extra vehicle?
mine goes off road often this time of year, duck hunting, deer hunting, lots of scouting through the woods, but it still gets me to work on Mondays

Mine is daily driven. 124,000 miles on a 2013 2door.

We drove it 3,400 miles round trip to Moab and back, with a 2 year old.

Love my Jeep, will be buying a new truck sometime this coming year (fingers crossed) and the JK will move to the garage for weekend fun.

Happy Jeeping!

Yeah, daily driver here. 190k miles and she's on 35's. I took it to a scale and she's just shy of 5000lbs but still gets down the road just fine.

Daily driver here. Will cross quarter million miles within a few days.

On a related note, just reread this 2010 article this morning ...

Mine used to be a DD, but it's now a toy.....mainly just to save wear and tear on it. I'm lifted 3.5" with 37s, but it's still a comfortable drive. We moved and my commute went from 20 miles round trip to 60 miles round trip. That's 15k miles a year just driving to/from work! When I hit 50k miles I woke up and bought a small pos commuter car just to save my jeep from useless wear. I plan it keep it forever! Currently 5.5+ years old ('13) and 82.5k miles.

With the “dreaded” 3.8 too lol. Too bad the motor gets a bad rap. Mine works fine too. I wonder if yours is the highest mileage JK in the country? Certainly the best traveled JK.

Default Daily Driver

Mine is a daily driver. I just picked it up, 2015 with 22000 miles on it. Working on getting the money together for the numerous mods to be done. My first one was a 93, back in the 90s with 33s under it. Probably go at least that tall anyhow.

Quit acting like you enjoy that 3.6L pushing those 37s. Go with my approach instead. Daily drive the hell out of it until you force yourself into a GM LS V8 engine swap and finally have the Jeep you always wanted but could never buy from the factory. At your current rate, you will have finally hit 100K miles and Petro fueled vehicles will be outlawed where we'll all be forced to be riding in electric self driving vehicles and by then, no one will be making a JK battery powered conversion swap.
