Default Getting in/out of backseat still tough in 2-door?

Been away for a while, but a 2 dr Wrangler still appeals to me.

Has Jeep made getting in/out of the backseat any easier though?

Nope, still tough to get back there. For all intents and purposes, the backseat is pretty bad for passengers... if you really want a useable backseat, get a 4-door.

I don't know about progress because this is my first jeep but it is a little hard, I am glad I don't ride back there. But there is alot of room, the seats just don't slide up enough.

I've heard that if you are one of those contortionists that can fold themselves up into a box and close the lid that getting in the back of a 2dr wrangler is only slightly more difficult. Hardly noticeable actually.

I'm 6'4" 275 lbs and have no problem getting in or out of my 2-door rear seat! You have to go in and out head first, I do have a Sahara with the side steps and that makes it much much easier. The Rubi's and X's might be a bit harder without the side steps though.

It makes for great entertainment when you have passengers.

I decided to give mine a try - I'm not small person(+51 years old). It wasn't the easiest but once I was back there, wasn't that bad. Its OK for occasional use, my 2 dogs love it

This is one area where the JK went back a step. My TJ was easier to get into the back seat. The aftermarket needs to come up with a seat mount like the TJ's for the JK.

Agreed, I'd love to have my TJ seat functionality back.
