This doesn't hold the tcase to the body like the TJ's did, right? The site just says it'll reduce shake and make it more pleasurable to drive.

Got shifter shake
No the support assembly bolts to the transfer case then through a polyurethane bushing and a frame bracket that bolts to the upper frame cross member behind the transfer case.

Any thoughts on the difference in shifter shake if the poly shims for the motor mount are omitted and just the xfer case bracket/bushing mount is installed.

Got shifter shake
The transfer case support assembly and motor mount bump stop kit are intended to work together to provide the most improvement. We have seen in some cases that certain aftermarket skid plates also use the same holes or location that are polyurethane bump stops do. If this is the issue you can still install just the transfer case support assembly by its self you will lose about 15 percent of the kits capabilities but still notice a big improvement.
