Hale Emergency
Well, bad to worse. Last night we learned that the trailer for our Boy Scout troop has been stolen. We have four trailers (large troop), but this is the big one with the main gear for six patrols. Now, this morning it's started raining and I have water literally pouring into the house in one room, seeping from a light fixture to the floor in another, plus stains forming in the ceiling in the garage. They say bad things come in threes. I hope that means that this is the last. :-(
damn Mark that sucks, I hope they catch the guy and hang em'
So your jeep doesnt leak but your house does, Chrysler did it
Hope everything gets better
Did you find out about hood yet?

Just got off the phone with Crossroads Chrysler/Jeep. If I buy the new hood through them, it isn't painted. So, by the time I have someone paint it (since I'm only a fair painter, at best), it's cheaper just to repair my existing hood. Respect for Planet Earth also suggests that it's better for me to reuse the old part, than to toss it out for a new one.
I also called AEV to see if they have something laying around. I'm awaiting a return call. I'm also awaiting a call from Traveler's about the house damage.
As for the trailer: Our chartering organization, a local church, is checking with their insurance company to see if they can get us coverage under their policy. There's a good chance that will happen. For me, the biggest loss is the rear of the trailer, our roster of Eagle Scouts. That is a great source of pride anywhere we take that trailer and will have to be recreated:
