Yes, that happened to me just yesterday. There is a 1, then a bit of a space, then another number (in your case 9.4). It looks like you are getting 194 mpg when you just glance at it. In my case, the wife and I were cruising down one of the scenic byways in Utah yesterday, and I wanted to see what fuel mileage the 6.4 Hemi was getting, so I reset the average fuel economy on the dash, so I could see the current gas mileage, instead of gas mileage from the last several hundred miles. My dash gave a very similar display to yours, only in my case it said I was getting 168 mpg (mine didn't have the decimal point in the number). Hand calculated gas mileage for the first 300 miles with the Hemi yesterday was 17.1, but probably not 168 mpg on a level section of highway.

I have a scan gauge that plugs into the OBII Port and can monitor instant gas milage (among other things) and some engines shut off the fuel injectors when coasting. The scan gauge shows 9999999 mpg when I'm coasting down a hill or incline, the Jeep display may be trying to show a value that's not supported. Did you just finish coasting down a long incline right after you topped off your tank and reset the gauge?
