Help Settle Arguement!!
As not to be biased in any way I will just post the question without saying which one of us is suggesting what! Look forward to your replies and hopefully this arguement can get settled once and for all!
WILL A LIFT KIT IMPROVE RAMP OVER ANGLE??
(The lift kit in question is the TF 2.5' BB)

Is Ramp Over Angle the same as an RTI score? If so, I think the answer is "yes." Any modification where you increase suspension travel (even a "budget boost" lift) SHOULD increase articulation numbers, allowing for a better angle/RTI rating. That's my thinking, anyway
Ramp over angle is the same as Break over angle.
A lift should increase this angle. The angle of increase will be gauged by the height of the lift. The best way to prove this is to measure your angles before and after the lift. JMO.

do you mean the RTI like mentioned above? or the BREAK over angle?
eitherway, like said above, yes. even a budget boost lift kit will raise either. it'll raise the cent of your jeep letting you run over higher or sharper hills without rubbing the belly. also it'll give you more wheel travel letting you get a higher RTI score.

Assuming you mean Break over angle...ANYTHING that raises the frame will increase that angle....
Larger tires will increase that angle.
A Coil Spacer Lift, or any other Suspension Lift will increase it.
A Body Lift Will NOT increase it, as it does NOT raise the frame, only the body (But - it WILL make room for taller tires....which WILL raise the angle...)
etc.
If you want to visualize the angle, look at the jeep from the side,....draw a line from the bottom of a front tire, up to the mid-point of the frame between the front and rear tires, and then down to the bottom of the rear tire.
That wide " /\ " shape is the break over angle.
If you imagine that that shape is the crest of a steep hill, and one tire is just over the crest, and one tire is just behind the crest....the peak of the /\ is the point you'll high-center at.
