Angry Homeless People Sleeping in my Jeep

Hi everyone,

I am currently living in downtown Chicago and I have a soft-top. I park in a parking garage with 24/7 security but last week someone unzipped my back window and broke in, luckily I keep nothing valuable in here but they made a mess and broke my locked glovebox which is annoying but no big deal! However, I came to my car this morning to discover that someone had been sleeping in it!!!!!!!!!!! I know break-ins are unavoidable but I really don't want some random person sleeping in my Jeep! Does anyone have any advice or should I just suck it up and let the hobos take over???

Thanks!!!!

I'd probably buy and install a hard top. I don't see any legal way to keep people out. People have used electrocution to keep people out of places, but you would be sued and be found guilty.

I’m from around your area and worked near Chicago for awhile. I had a hardtop so they just busted my passenger window. Screw that place, c’mon back to Florida.

It's Chicago, it was your Jeep. It is now a impromptu homeless shelter.

Install a Webcam in a non conspicuous location. Capture video, upload it on Youtube, start making money if it goes viral. Turn lemons into lemonade.

it's just awful, I recently had this, in our country, there are many serious problems of public importance in the social direction, the topic of homelessness also takes place here, I recommend that you click here to learn more on this topic in order to understand the problem deeper and try to make decisions or propose proposals for the authorities to resolve such issues, because that writing on forums about this is not enough in the modern world.

You have people sleeping in your jeep as well? What a suspect post, like your others.
