Question

Colleagues,

Does anyone have any "before v. after" experience on 1) the heat deflection in the Summer, and 2) the heat retention in Winter?

Cheers!!

I've had the headliner kit installed for a few weeks now, and while it hasn't been cold enough yet to get a true sense of how much heat the kit helps retain (only got to -4C last night), you can definitely feel the difference in temperature when you place your hand on the bare hard top vs the headliner.

I am going to echo Steve, I do think it makes a difference around your head. Cold radiates too and I think the liners help a bit. I have had very little experience with the hardtop on, and most of that has been with the Hotheads on. Crank up the heater though and in our 35 degree weather you're cooked out of the jeep in no time!

Yes in the heat of summer, it works great. I live in S.Florida and most of this summer it's been above 90 everyday. If the Jeep was parked or driving slow in traffic the inside of the roof was almost too hot to touch. And the A/C would have to be turned up full to work (barely). But now the A/C works much better, and the roof is cool to the touch (like night and day). Can't tell you much about the heating issue.

Since I live in Phoenix, I think 80 is cold. i didn't get it installed in time, so I will not know anything until May '10.
