How do you get the plastic piece between the grill and bumper off?

How do you get the plastic piece between the grill and bumper off?
It should be simple, getting those 2 little plastic keepers off but I've been out in the shop prying on those suckers for an hour and I can't seem to get them loose. Is there some secret trick to getting them off? I'm trying to replace my stock fogs and they won't come out the bottom. Thanks.

Sometimes the simplest things can be a pain. I ended up just cutting them, will figure out a way to re-attach rhem later. Got my fogs in and they are super bright now.
