Been running doors off and top off all summer and love it.. Have been caught a couple times in the rain, (I always carry the fronts with me). I get some hilarious looks especially when I am with all the kids.

 

i put my windshiled down also a good amount of the time

its easier cause the grey rounded plastic cover things around the A-pillar, i just leave them off. Really like the bare steel look. Also i just never put my sun visors back on so thats another step gone

 

There was not an option for top off, doors off, bikini top on....

 

I agree it sounds like a soft top poll. I live in WA. Hard top on, doors on.

 

i like to run with the soft top up all the windows out and the doors off.


Why do people always have to make some stupid comment about my doors falling off? Some goofball nearly every time I park will say "Looks like your doors fell off" or something along those lines.

 

I keep my doors on for 2 reasons, 1 I have a 1 year old and it concerns my wife to have the doors off. 2 I think doors off without a lift looks a little strange on the unlimited.

I took my soft top off the jeep the day after I got it. I will put the bikini on if the family will be in the JK for a long period of time. I don't want to burn them.

 

Doors suck. Tops suck.

 

Too hot in Texas (for me anyway) to run with no doors and topless, for now. As soon as it cools down, I'll be stripping all the doors off.

 

I ran for most of June and July with the top off and the two front doors off (two kids in the back = doors on). After about the middle of July and the first week in August I had to put the bikini top on...the sun was just too strong or I could be too much of a wuss. I have to tell you though some of those 100+ degree days, I didn't make too much fun of those folks with the tops/doors on and AC blowing.

 

I put the top down on nice days. I like to run with no doors, but i usually only take them off if we are going to have a week w/o rain. The problem is this only happend once this summer.
