I don't think it matters how often you wash it. With all the cracks and crevices, there's probably mud on mine from the last ice age.

I am real anal about keeping the mud off my jk. I wash it off the same day after wheeling everytime unless I am at a 2 day event like jeep jamboree or offroad park overnight trip. U got to get the mud outof the wheels or it will drive like shit anyway may as well get it all off I really hate mud, the cleaner my jeep is after wheeling the more fun I had since I like to play on the rocks.

I can't imagine anything more hillbilly redneck then running around w/ big mud clumps falling from your Jeep hitting others behind you. Get it muddy, then clean it, don't be a douche...

I live on a muddy back road, so I gave up washing it a week after I got it.

I washed it for the first time this year yesterday as you can see in my avitar pic...

I try to get it off ASAP or it seems like it turns to concrete and then takes forever to get off.

I dont really wash i guess, usually just rinse off the crap with high pressure hose and run sprinkler underneath. every couple of weeks I run through the touchless car wash so i get the wax treatment and get the soft top nice and clean.
