If You Could Do It Again Would You Switch To A 4 Door Over A 2 Door Or Vice Versa ?

Absolutely zero doubt in my mind...I would stay with the 2 door, ragtop, manual. If I want a 4 door I'll drive my wifes highway warrior (Trail Blazer). (Useless out on the trail!)
Take care...Mike

Drove them both and went with the 2 door and glad i did. I like the smaller wheelbase but if i had kids or wanted to wheel with more than one passanger i would have went with the four door

This is my first Jeep and I bought the 4 door, I drove the 2 door and had driven some 70's era Jeeps. The extra room in it is fantasitc. I like to have space for all my stuff and the 2 door would not do what "I" need it to do.
Only thing I would have done different... I would have the manual.
I got the automatic because the wife will need to drive on long road trips.
I was looking at an F150 or F250 with 4 doors when the 4 door Jeep came out. The differnece in price was a BIG factor. The Fseries were running $32,000, I paied $25,000 for the Jeep. I could not hae made the payments on the Fseries. If the 4 door JK did not come out it would have been a Liberty or Patriot

Had many 2 door Wranglers, then an Unlimted TJ, now the 4 door JK. I love having more room and the rear doors are VERY convenient. If I were buying a rock crawler I would go with a 2 door.... actually I would buy a rock crawler instead of a Jeep. I do my share of offroading but I am on-road much more, and so is everyone else, even if they would rather be offroad. I never had any problems offroad due to size of my vehicle even in my Unimog or Suburban.
I'd choose the 4 door again, but I would take a 2 door if I didn't have the choice.
