Interior Security
I'm not concerned about theft of interior items until the summer time when the doors and top are off, but who do you secure bags or other items that are too large to fit in the rear cubby?

Unless you are going to buy or build a trunk there's not much you can do. The rear cubby is also not secure at all. It's a better option due to the fact that its out of sight, but easy to get into. Some people put bike locks or something like that on their bags to stop a quick grab...

I usually strap and lock things to the rollbar if they themselves are secure, other than that, I'd strongly recommend tuffy products...

Does it affect the sound from the sub-woofer? |
Im using my phone so i can't see from your profile if you have a 2 or 4 door but on my 2 door if i have the back seat in i just put stuff behind it with the top down covering the bags.

Most people are honest, and most thieves are opportunity based. Out of sight is enough to protect you almost 100% of the time.
If you want/need more protection than that you need to go Tuffy or up, and even those are not going to keep out someone who really wants your stuff. Easiest way to do that is keep your mouth shut. Don't tell everyone you know you keep a gun in the car, don't announce you have $3k worth of gear in the car before going to dinner. The Tuffy stuff is well built and at a reasonable price. I have the underseat box, and the cubby cover - at some point I will get the center console. They are strong enough that they will keep out everyone but determined thieves, and even bank vaults need alarms. A vehicle will NEVER be a secure area. Main issue is always not to advertise theft opportunity. |

I agree sub definitely hits harder now. And I'm finishing up my install of the Dei proximity sensor. For those prying eyes.
