went up last saturday with my local jeep club to down our "fall crawl" at riverock. went thro a space alittle too tight for the jeep and it fell on its side...the side step took the majority of the hit. but my front drivers side fender flare is now loose. it seems like the little clips that hold it in place have been broke (by the fall no doubt) anything i can do? or do i just take it off? id like to save it if i can. the sidestep also created a dent in the bottom of the jeep right below the door. would metal sliders to the same? whatever u cn tell me would be great.

How big is the dent???? If not too bad of a dent and paint is not damaged...Try taking the JK to a Paintless Dent Removal shop...They might be able to pop it out for a decent price!

 

i got take the step off to see how bad it is, ill do that this evening most likely. how much does that normally run/? and will metal sliders bend and dent my jeep like the oem did?

 

Most sliders cover the body there and will prevent any damage. You do have to drill some holes to install though. Glad to hear you had some fun!

It depends on the dent...but I had a big dent removed from my Dodge Ram a few years back...cost me $125.00 vs $950.00 quote by 3 body shop to pop out, repaint! You can't even see where the dent was!

im about to leave off for college...and i have a choice...

leave the jeep here for my younger brother, and get a car...like a subaru wrx, or keep the jeep. what would u guys do?

itd be a trade, my little brother gets the jeep and id get another. or keep the jeep. im stuck between...a subaru wrx, jeep tj rubi 5 spd...or keep my sahara 4 door auto.
