The jeep wave is dead

hah.. True we get more waves from towns folk in those states we visited.. We had more people waving that drove anything but jeeps, stop and talk with us. Talk about the kids.. they are like Mommy, Daddy look at that jeep.. Mind you the adults are driving jeeps to.. and could care less.. one little girl in New Mexico, got out of her moms tj and ran to the tailgate.. smiled and waved at us.. but the mom.. took the kid by the arm and dragged her into the store.. the kid put up a good fight, looking back and smiling.. Maybe the half top and doorless really struck a nerve in her..

How can you blame someone who doesn't know what the wave is? I got the Jeep in July and didn't know anything about the wave until i saw a YouTube video on Jeep history a couple months later.

I get about 80% waving around central Indiana, so it is gtg. Jeep model (JK, CJ, YJ, TJ) doesn't seem to matter. Most of the ones not waving didn't see me. I'd say it is better than 95% if they actually see me. It is not just alive and well, it is thriving and better than when I had my old YJ. I'm sure some of the non-waves from the YJ days were CJs that couldn't get over the rectangular headlights. That was a big deal back then.

I would say about 75% of the jeeps I wave to around here in central NJ wave back. My 6 year old daughter loves it and started waving to parked jeeps in parking lots. haha I told her that it's just for wranglers, and a few cherokees might wave if they are modded. She is excited to see me lift the new rubicon. She already said " jack it up daddy". Maybe someday she can drive my JKU.
