JK parts mark up
I was bored today while sitting at my son's dentist appt.; I went through all of my past Amazon orders for my jeeps from 2013 and 2014.
I was shocked at how much some companies have almost doubled the price of some of their JK parts. Am I the only one that thinks that is crazy?? I know how supply and demand works but damn.
Rugged ridge bumper with hoop was $322 back in 2013 and now it is $522 without the hoop!!!
Another example is a Warrior bumper I purchased, it was $329 in 2015 and is now $579.
Unbelievable.

It seems brands like Rugged Ridge and Smitty are trying to beef up their image. Mostly by improving quality. I've only be an owner for 3 yrs now but have seen an upward curve in tedponse to customer service and overall quality. At least it seems. IMO.

This is the exact reason I ordered a Recon for 2018. I don't really want leather and all that but by the time you take a Rubi and add in bumpers and better rails(with their new high prices) ,you may as well get a Recon. I was the most surprised with the price increases of the cheaper brands.
Of course $50k for a Recon is ridiculous too LOL
