why dont they make the top out of the black outer material on both sides, inside and out?

ive had my top down for months and the inside now has dirt stripes from the folds.

i have mud spots on the inside of the back two tailgate sails when the top up, but the windows are off.

just thinking out loud.

no takers--why would this be such a bad idea?

next time i think ill completely remove the soft top... hardware and all.

That's what I do almost everytime i take the top down. It's worth the extra 15 mins keeps your top clean while wheelin and I think it makes the jeep look cooler
