JKS price increase?
 

Am I losing my mind or something, I bought rear upper control arms from JKS Febuary 28th from quadratec for 306 dollars. I saw them today there for almost 600 bucks. Did I luck out or is that a typo?

This was brought up in another thread earlier. Don't know why they went up, but maybe a vendor will post about it. :dontknow2:

All I know is that quadratecs prices have increased. Maybe that's what happened?

I looked on the JKS website last week and their adjustable lower control arms were $450. I just picked up a practically brand new set of adjustable lower control arms from a forum member here and he mentioned to me that I lucked out because there was aprice increase. When I looked on JKS' website again, I about fell out of my chair. The price went up to $740! I had to know, so i called JKS and spoke to a guy there and asked him if there was a design change on the control arms or if it was a price increase due to material cost. The guy said that there was no design change and it was due to material cost. I think a $290 increase in price is a little excessive, but then again I don't buy metal every day so maybe it did go up that much. Who knows.

I am damn glad I ordered on February 28th instead of march 1. If they were that expensive I would have went with clayton instead.

Stopped using Chinese steel?

Just about everyones prices are going up.

In every industry, not only parts and stuff, but gas as we all know, food and clothing prices as well.

i know dave mentioned the price increase he didnt say why though :thinking:

their front track bar went up 40 dollars or 30% depending how you look at things. I wish I knew about this before hand, I guess I will buy different company's track bar.
