Default JKU lift

looking into lifts for my JKU been doing a ton of research. i've seen rough country has bad reviews can anyone testify for RC. looking to go 3.5 or 4' would like to run 37's. it will be a daily driver but plan todo light wheeling with it. wanting to keep it at a fair price, wheels & tires will come later.

A daily driver on 37's is dumb. Typically 37's and 4" of lift is going to cost you about $10k in the end and you should shy away from the $500 4" lift kits. You really need to replace everything in the suspension and steering and driveshafts. Don't forget about gears as well. RC lifts are cheap because they leave out much of what you need for a good driving vehicle. You are much better off with 35's and a 2.5" lift for a lot less money and a better driver. Look at Metal Cloak, Synergy, or Off road evolution for the better kits out there that actually will have the things you need without the "you have to add this to fix that" issue you get from incomplete kits.

Don't go thinking that Dirtman's $10k is redonk. There's just so much that has to be addressed along the line, it's just not as simple as slapping suspension components on it. You're gonna need to address all your steering and driveline components as well if you want 37s. Then gearing, tires, wheels, reinforcing brackets and axles.....it all adds up. Also, if you plan on 37s, make sure you're buying the proper BS wheels to begin with......and you'll be limited on selection to beadlocks pretty much...or else you'll be running spacers.

I've doing lots of research about lifts and for me just JKS, AEV and EVO made my list. Myself I will be doing 35's with my stock 4.11 gears, not ideal but doable in Flat Florida.

That is a very manageable combination, especially since you have the rubi TC for off road ventures.

Yup... tipping point for my rig to go from DD to weekend driving was 37s and the mods to run them.
