Default kc hilites

Has anybody had a problem with these being wobbly? I just installed mine and they seem a little loose.

How are they mounted? and what kind of KC's are you talking about, Aux lights or headlamps?

I had the 100w HiLites aux lights mounted to the windshield and i could hang my whole body weight on those without them budging

I have the slimlites on windshield mounts on mine and the same lights on the cowpusher of my wife's Jeep. I can move them by hand but they don't move otherwise. I'm not sure what lights he is referring to either.

Ya I might send them back to quadrateck. They're loose and I read a thread on another jeep forum where a guy said his were loose too. He sent them back and the next set was loose.

Yeah I found the same thing. Doesn't seem to be all of them but the guy said he modded them to make them tight. However, he didn't go into what he actually did. I'm guessing electrical tape.

I saw one where the guy put hot glue around the inside of the chrome holder. I may try that but then I may have some aiming issues.

I did the hot glue around the retainer ring. It worked, tightened them up. Now off to the dealer to buy the horizontal adjustment screws for the headlights, since jeep didn't provide them in the jk.
