Default License plate meanings?
Hey what does the code CG on license plates then a bunch of numbers mean?
I know G means government vehicle or something what does CG mean?
I saw it on a JK and the guy didn't look any different than anyone.

Really? It means coast guard? I live in AZ and theres no ocean anywhere near haha,

CG could mean coast guard. y'all got some lakes huh?? they also do stuff on lakes, reservoirs, and stuff like that. They aren't limited to just the ocean coast . The coast guard is on Lake Tahoe even. CG could mean several things. In your state I'm not sure so i could only guess what it means. There is a Coast Guard base outside Las Cruces.

I have seen this here in Colorado on what appeared to be an unmarked Crown Victoria. It was a colorado tag of course.

I think you can get tags in your home state if your stationed elsewhere.
