Default Long arm install gulf coats

Ey ladies and gents I'm debating whether or not to install a teraflex 4" elite long arm myself or have a shop do it does anyone know about how much this would cost? The only thing I need a shop to do is cut/weld the brackets. Anywhere between Gulfport and destin along i10 works and I'm willing to go as far north as Montgomery if they're good. Thanks in advance.

if you need a shop to do brackets you might as well have them put the new stuff on as you are already going to be paying to remove the suspension. I would expect $1500 to be a resonable number on a long arm install depending on the completness of the kit. Are you doing drag link flip and raised track bar brackets as well?

Wow that's a lot but it's what I figured. I guess for the guys who install these it's only an extra hour or so for them to do everything. Haven't looked into that yet I'm planning this pretty far out and am wondering what to save for.

But yeah for anything over a thousand I couldn't justify a shop anymore.

So how are you going to get the brackets welded on and drive away?

Figure if I had the lift installed they could just weld the mounts and install the arms. That or if the long arms will work on a 2.5" that could work too, I'm not sure how adjustable they are. Still for that much money I could buy a quality welder and do it myself.

Do you even know how to install a suspension? From your comments it looks like you don't have a clue.
