My 08 won't start from time to time, I'll mess with the shift knob and then it will start, weird, anyhow.. We're looking in to getting a 2011 jku, do other years also have this issue? Or just the 07s and 08s?

 

depending on if its a bad ground or the park sensor it can happen to other years/models/makes. theres a few easy fixes on this very forum for the common jk versions of the problem.

 

My auto 07 has done this a couple times If I switch it into neutral rather than park, it fixes the issue.


If you have a manual, not sure what you could do!

 

Hi. My name is kenny and in having the same issues.. First started 2 years ago and progressively got worse to where I replaced my starter a month ago and battery yesterday.. A transmission specialist friend of mine said it could be a cpu relay issue.. Idk.. Frazzled here in NJ
