Ouch, bummer. I'd say give it a few weeks and if you've taken the top off, doors off, wheeled it a bit, and just plain gotten to know it, and you STILL don't like it, then sell it off. Jeeps, while cool, are honestly not for everyone. The technology in our JK's is pretty much 20th century stuff. It's a rougher ride than probably all the other SUV's out there, it's noisier, and it's honestly not like any other vehicle you've ever driven. Those same values make the JK endearing to all here. So hopefully, after a week or two of owning it and giving it a chance, we'll see ya back here as a happy new JK owner!

I agree with what all the others have said...
Also if you do decide not to sell it, make your first mod. Another unique quality of the JK is that it's like an erector set. Almost everything can come off and be replaced by something better or at least different. You can truly make it your own.

Thanks for all the replies of support. I think you guys are right about taking the top off and getting out there a bit to see what it's like in full form.
The problem: the foam in the seats gives too much. After driving for half an hour, all the good things about the Jeep go out the window because all I can think about is butt and back aches. Does anyone else experience anything like that?
What's cool about it: driving around in the wind and rain from the hurricane today was sweet!
I'm still pursuing the option of selling, but I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow when she goes topless!

Not a Jeep dude... ok not everyone is
and like everyone said .... at least take the top off... or the freedom covers... those take 5 mins.
as for the ride of a wrangler... it's second to none in my opinion.....
Maybe the dealer will trade you a Grand Cherokee for it
Good Luck.....

DID YOU NOT take it for a test drive first?
The JKU is the way to go too IMO and drop some mods into it.... Bad ass jeep.
I loved mine 2 minutes into the test drive, every bump, the plain interior, the feel of the suspension..... I loved it all.

If mine was an only car I doubt Id want it either. Its an awesome toy for weekends but driving around all week, running errands, commuting and all that I would hate it. The new engine would make it better, but I still prefer luxury cars and trucks for dailys.
