At first, I felt the same. "Wow, this rides weird. Wobbles alot."
And like all the posters above said, I just took off the top on a nice night stroll and instantly OMG! Screw the wobble, screw the rough ride this is amazing!! And once that hit, I don't notice the weird ride.

I sat in a lifted yellow one at the NYC auto show and said out loud to myself "I want one of these" and went and bought one 2 weeks later. No regrets here....!

You're more than welcome to swap me your 2012 JKU for my 2005 Ford Escape, if you're a real masochist.

That's funny cause that's one of the things I loved(the wobble's etc) felt like I was offroading and I was on pavement!! Loved it

Edited my post #14 to answer this and included it in full here:

Thanks for all the replies of support. I think you guys are right about taking the top off and getting out there a bit to see what it's like in full form.

The problem: the foam in the seats gives too much. After driving for half an hour, all the good things about the Jeep go out the window because all I can think about is butt and back aches. Does anyone else experience anything like that?

What's cool about it: driving around in the wind and rain from the hurricane today was sweet!

I'm still pursuing the option of selling, but I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow when she goes topless!

Are these people who come on here complaining about jeeps people that work for Toyota or something?
Just thinking.

Just took some getting used to. I switch from a nice soft ride of the Cherokee. However, taking turns in this is a blast, if you know what I mean.

OP it took me about a week to get the seat adjusted to what I wanted and broken in.

I'm a pretty big guy at 6'4 and 300lbs, I found it pretty easy to get this car to a comfortable point.

My back bothers me constantly, but not in the Jeep. Monday she will be naked again once Irene passes.
