My plan!
so here is my plan. sell my hard top to pay for a re gear. wait out the summer wile saving with no roof at all (no rain in cali for summer) then go 37s on my stock dana 44 and try to pick up a second hand soft top.
anyone see an issues with this?

further im planning on running the rubicon at the end of summer and would like the extra clearance as to avoid body damage. as many say a good driver could take the rubicon on 35s no problem, no damage.... i dont want to find out the hard way that im not a good driver.

Plan works IMO, not having to worry about rain. It seems to me that used softtops are usually cheaper than used hardtops... If you don't have already, definitely budget for C-gussets when you do your gears in prep for those 37s. Cheap insurance...

Not to bring ya down... but if your having that hard a time... what's your plan on filling the gas tank? I'm running 37" tires and I see it at the gas pump. I drive a mix of highway and street and getting about 12 to 13 mpg with a regear and Superchip. Sorry but if you wanna ride with big tires... ya gotta pay the price.
