Default Need help working a deal....

A friend of my brother owns a machine shop and are jeep enthusiasts. They are gonna put my Rusty's 3.25 on for me.

He is interested in my rubicon wheels and tires and I am trying to think of a decent trade where we both come out OK...

I put this in the Mod section because you guys know what the costs are asscociated with it all.

Anybody have a good idea? A local shop would do the lift for $250 - $300. I am not sure what the wheels and tires are worth. I have seen from $450 to $900. I am assuming around $500.

Any wiser, kinder folk wanna give thier opinion??

I bought a set of rubi wheels and tires in excelent condition with only 100 miles on them (all 5) for $500. They are worth more but he wanted them gone. They are only worth more to the right person.

If it were me, I would have the guy install the lift and then give me 250 bucks for the wheels/tires to make up the difference. Any more than that wouldn't seem like much of a deal to the other guy.
