New Cherokee for 2010...?
I heard that the Liberty is going away allowing the Dodge Nitro to take over that model. That would allow the new Cherokee to be called a Cherokee in the UK aswell.
It's based on the Trailhawk prototype and has a powerfull Pheonix engine in it that is a diesel aswell, and is very fuel efficient. It has a modified JK frame with 2 door and 4 door body's, and has panels that come off the roof. Solid axles, and an offroad version that is akin to all the options on the Rubicon except it isn't called a Rubicon, just Cherokee ORT, (Off Road Technology). The other versions were, the Sport, (like the X), and Limited, (like the Sahara). It also came in the Truck version like the Commanche. I could go on but... then I woke up.:sad2: It was a great dream though.:yup: |
Strangely, in France, the Liberty Jeep is called CHEROKEE !!!

..............not cool. seriously had me going there for a second.
2nd worse thing Jeep has done after getting rid of that inline 6. |
eh?!?
the Cherokee is already a Cherokee here in the UK?!? and we already have the Nitro and Liberty?!? am i missing something or is it just too early?!?! lol |
Yeah, the Liberty in NA is the Cherokee just about everywhere else (sigh).
Great dream, but I think that the GC will be similar in size to what it already it, but maybe a strengthened-unibody frame with 4WD/AWD. Hybrid outta the Durango wouldn't be a bad idea either. |
funny:yup: and sad:naw:
