the trail grappler is a better comparison. I like mine so far and they are not loud at all. I keep hearing the mud grapplers are however.

The Nitto Mud Grappler is an awesome tire! Very durable, Very Heavy!!, and the sound is unique, from other mud tires. you quickly get used to it. to be quite honest it is somewhat comforting. my only bitch with them is when you are creeping along at a stop light or in a parking lot. they do rumble pretty bad. the prices are comparable but. the tires are not comparable,

The Mud Grappler is an extreme terrain tire and built for some of the Harshest terrains out there.

The toyo is an exceptional tire in itself. but to compare the two there is no comparison. two different kinds of tires

The Mud Grappler gets my vote as well.
