I recently traded my 97 TJ for a JK Unlimited Rubicon. Yes, I commute to work in it, and yes, I take the twins to TBall and soccer in it.
And, oh yes, the four of us just got back from offroading w/Jerry (Jantarek) in western Mass.
We had a blast. Did some minor rock crawling, mudding, and fjording of large puddles/ponds that went up over the tires. The wife riding shotgun, and the two six-year-olds in the back.
Could we have done it in a 2 door? Sure, but this is much more comfy for everyone. I have no regrets about buying a "Mall-mobile". It's a real Jeep.

 

My Moms Boyfriend drives a JK too lol!

 

Face it you have built up aggression towards your mom since she's a soccer mom according to you and your post's and this is not the place to get help for that. I just hope she never reads this forum or your going to get sent to your room and grounded.

Ya wanna see someone hot? I was driving home from a little jaunt to the falls & a rather attractive womand (blonde) in a little convertible rollerskate honked at a redlight for me to lower my window, so i did, and she was all raving about the Jeep and how she used to have one and on and on and how she really wanted to drive a new one and blah blah blah... I was trying to be polite and bow out of the conversation (which was entirely one sided coming from her) and the spousal unit who i dont think this woman saw was getting all :angry:


i got spluttered at for half an hour and all i did was roll down the window, i had no idea what that woman wanted.

 

Mmm ... soccer moms in jeeps. :toung:
