Default Opinion on tires wanted.

Quick question for you all. I have the opportunity to buy a used set of 285 70 17 inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac AT's. These tires are probably 65 to 75 percent tread life left on them $400 total 4 tires only what do you think?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If they look good and they are not too old (check the date stamp) then it sounds like a good deal to me.

As said before, if they're in good shape and not too old I'd go for it. Duratracs are great all around tires.

Thanks for the input. I will check and see date but they look really good to me when I checked them out. No cracks or signs of any kind of dry rot problems.

In November I bought 4 brand new duratracs from simpletire.com for $605. Had them installed for $70. So for $675 I got 4 brand new duratracs installed. They were original OEM size (32"). I love them.

I just bought those same tires for my truck and they were more then twice that. If you don't want them let me know where they are.

No swallowing involved. Was a little cheaper due to Black Friday sale, but you can still get 4 dura tracks delivered for around $650. Tire rack was more. They were up around $715. I'm talking OEM size.
