I plan to order a Rubicon Unlimited in the spring. I have a couple of questions:

When does the window for ordering close for the model year?

How long does it take to recieve your vehicle once you order?

I would ask those questions of the dealer your going to order from.

 

Order cut off isn't the only thing to be concerned about. I would want to know what thatdealers allocation was like if i was going to put myself close to the cut off. If they have low allocation and the builds get scheduled out (sold out) then your order could go unbuilt or get rolled to thenext model year.

Definitely talk to your dealer to nail down all the particulars.

 

I work at a Jeep dealership, and we've already ordered and recieved 2011's.

2010's are done, unless you buy something that is on a dealers lot, or that they can get you through a dealer trade.

If you order in the spring, shouldn't be a problem getting it... expect to wait 8 to 12 weeks.

 

I ordered my 2010 in March 2010 and just made the cutoff. My dealer made orders for their lot in April and ended up with 2011's.

 

2010 cut off was a little earlier than normal, to set up for the new interior etc for the 2011's.
