I happen to notice a wire (leading to my Daystar light switch) hanging below my glove box. While pushing it back in I burned my fingers. I removed the glove box to see what was so hot and it was to silver tubes. They appear to be ac condensor but im not certain.

I just went back outside after the Jeep has been parked for over two hours and the tubes were still hot. I immediately removed the positive terminal on the battery.

I do not smell anything such as electrical burning but I am very puzzled and obviously very concerned. I will not be able to get into a dealership until Tuesday and dont know if I feel comfortable reconnecting the battery.

Anyone have any ideas? I am lost!

Where does the wire goes to ?

Is it an original wire/circuit or it is a mod ?
