I'm at 148,129 miles and couldn't be happier with my Jeep. I've been pretty busy lately so she hasn't had much attention in about 4 years. I started throwing some codes (p1404 and p430) so brought it to a local shop, they recommended I take it to the dealership to check the warranty. I'm the original owner and I'm glad I took it to the dealer, specifically Moritz of Fort Worth, TX. I brought it in and they said that I needed to get the airbag recall stuff done and a list of other things I'll list here:
-Airbag clockspring, covers and shroud - warranty
-Airbag inflator passenger - warranty
-oil leaking from lower intake gasket, left and right valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, front crankshaft oil seal, and coolant leaking from the lower intake gasket - warranty
-Radiator leaking- replaced out of pocket
-5 year inspection completed - warranty
-left side exhaust manifold cracked - warranty
-EGR valve replaced - out of pocket
I dreaded the thought of going to the dealership but can't tell you how happy I was that most of the work was covered by my warranty. I was told my catalyst converters were bad but I'm not convinced because of the manifold issue. I have drove it for two days now with no codes but will wait and see if it doesn't throw a code.
My advice to all original owners if you are having any issues take it to the dealer and let them check your Jeep. If it is warranty item get it done and if it's not you can do the work yourself, if you have the time

09 JKU 6-speed manual - 95,950 miles...runs great but consumes 1qrt of oil every 1k miles.
Most of my list below was replacing the part before it stranded me. Radiator had a slight leak and AC didn't work, bad evaporator. I went ahead and replaced heater core while my dash was out, lots of labor cost in that. Front drive shaft boot was torn, due to lift, it was squeaking because grease had been slung out of it. If you're running a lift be sure to check your drive shaft rubber boots. The list seems bad but my jeep has been paid off for years and only has needed gas, oil changes and a battery or two.
Here's a list of what's been replaced.
- Radiator - 93,000 miles
- Heater core and AC evaporator - 93,000 miles
- Front Drive shaft was going bad - 93,000 miles - I replaced it myself with a Tom Woods 1310 series drive shaft
- Clockspring before recall and new plugs/wires - 75,000miles
- One wheel speed sensor
- AC hose line
When my jeep is clean people don't know it's almost 10 years old!

200 000 miles on 2012.
Engine:
Engine as good as new
100 000 miles of 200k running on LPG.
Valves, Air intake clean as new (every 10k use fuel system cleaner)
Still on original water pump, which is a true shocker
3rd steering pump, they cook fast in deep snow or mud
Oil cooler/filter leaked and was replaced at around 150k
No oil leaks anywhere
Coolant clogging the heater in the cabin and blowing cold air out of the driver side
Crankshaft sensor had to be replaced at 150k. Amazingly, the Jeep runs with damaged sensor, most other cars have to be towed, once the sensor fails.
Driveline
Replaced front D30 with Dynatrac PR44 at 100k after the D30 bent back 5 degrees in a pothole
On just installed 3rd clutch, and second Centerforce, which wrecked the clutch shaft seal and transfer case seal
Transfer case chain is loose and is being replaced now
Third set of rear axle bearings
Head to rebuild the RCV joints after 100k miles
Synergy Ball joints in front are lasting 100k miles
Metal cloak control arms are cracked up after 100k miles
Replaces Bilsteins shocks once under warranty
AEV springs are completely rusted after 180k miles
No issues with rear suspension
Other:
3rd Windshield
2 times 70-80k miles on Wildpeak tires
50k miles so far and half way through the thread on KO2s
2 times replaced Jeetops, finally they are not cracking
Driver seat leather started to wore out and was replaced recently
Steering wheel seams are worn
Trucklites lasted 120k, now on JW Speaker
