Default Question about shipping cost

I had a vendor send me a replacement product for a defective one. Was told I was sent a "better" version. Didnt like it, wanted a replacement of the original product. Vendor said OK, I just needed to ship the others back and then he would have shipping send me the right parts. Am I wrong in asking to have the right parts shipped to me with a return label in the box so I can reuse the box to ship back unwanted items? I just dont think I should have to come out of my pocket for a vendors mistake. What do yopu guys think?

If it was completely the vender's mistake, then you definitely should NOT pay for any return shipping.

No, The vendor should send a pick-up for the item. He should have not substituted unless he contacted you first. That seems to be a problem with some vendors when you order over the net. If you ordered with a credit card file a stop payment. That will get his attention.

The rule here is if we screw it up we pick up the shipping by emailing a ups call tag. If I were you I would give them call and ask for a E-tag via ups it's cheap and fast.
