Quick fix needed for a soft top repair?

I have a small cut in my soft top (that I caused trying to modify it) and was wondering if anyone knows a of way to patch it. It is about a 3/4" long.

Is it just a cut? I would suggest resin or some kind of vinyl repair gel that cures to a rubber like consistency. That way it will still flex a little instead of cracking.

Where is the tear? What were u trying to do? Depending on where it is ie/ stress/tensioned area or weather resistance importance area u have a couple options. I haven't had to on mine, but I know of someone who used a bike repair patch on the inside and sewed it in place with an embroidery stitch on a machine. His was much longer than that at almost two inches but it did the job well, since your tear is smaller u might be able to stitch it closed. Send pics

The cut is on top at the door surround. I bought an old soft top (2007) and cut the plastic lip so I can open sun rider from inside without having to get out and f*** with it. I don't think I can stitch it. A patch would be best. Where do I get vinyl repair gel? A bike shop? Home Depot?

I would use this stuff. I'v heard good things about it repairing tents.

I have a friend that used kevlar sail tape that he bought at west marine.

Jeep shops might tell you to buy a 3x windows replacement kit, or for a DIY, glue it with resin or melt some plastic over it...

I bought tent/matress repair tape from an outdoors store for 4 bucks and 5 minutes of labor on a 4inch cut. Still have some left for future repairs. 1year in it hasn't budged.

Yeah, mine's not on the window but the actual top itself. I'll post a picture when I get a chance. Seems like there are a lot of options out there.

Oh, yeah that might be trickier since the surface is porous, but it might work anyway for small cuts... This tape is serious stuff.
