Default Refinancing leads anyone?

I am wanting to refi my jeep for 72 months.

Currently at 2.5% and don't want to go much higher.

I'm throwing a little cash at it and just want a lower payment.

LMK if you know of anyone that does refis for TX residents.

TIA

Have you tried your local credit union?

I am not sure about this, but I doubt you can get a refi for 72 months. Banks usually want a smaller time period when you refi, most i have seen is 36, maybe 48 months. And you are at 2.5%....that is a great rate (well unless you got the 0% like I did) but in my opinion your going to struggle getting something lower than 2.5%. I guess you could trade it in on a 2012 (if it is not already) and work your options towards a lower payment there. Dealers usually give you longer time period on new vehicles.

Maybe not much help....sorry

*EDIT....just saw that it is a 2012....don't think you have too many options...

This.

Generally, new car rates are lower than used car rates... the odds of you getting a used car rate lower than what you are at now are very, very slim.

Best of luck.
