Very interested to hear how it's doing after 2 years.
I used to roll Suburbans as my distance drivers, but after selling my only Jeep at the time, my mint 47k mile 1990 Grand Wagoneer, I was hurtin' for another Jeep in the garage, so I upped it to a 2008 JK... then a 2009, a 2010, and now my problematic 2011.

It's not quite 500 a day, it's more like thousands at a time.

As for comfort, it goes without saying, other than being terribly unreliable, the 2011 is unimaginably more comfortable.

Wait, So your company pays the car note, so this refund check is just extra cha-ching laced to your pocket. Nice.

those are some insane numbers you put up.

120k miles a year is about 330 miles a day, which means you are behind the wheel and driving almost 6 hours a day at 60 mph, 7 days a week..

You must have an ineresting job...

I had the money to pay for my jeep, but wanted to build some credit. My payments are less than 150 a month. I love telling friends that got used cars that I pay less.

Bleh. I'd hate to be on the road that much (probably away from home). $800/mo. and free gas? Hmm. I think I'd ride something more plush.
Glad you enjoy your job, friend!

I used to roll Denalis and loaded T
LTZ Suburbans, I just got tired of them- in my area, every Tom, Richard, and Harry drives a QX56, Suburban, Tahoe, Denali, Yukon, X5, or Q7... I got tired of it. I cant deny my roots- Once a Jeeper, always a Jeeper, no matter if I wear a tie. It's a compromise; a sacrifice for fun.

As for the job, I'm honestly home every night for about two weeks- I only pull overnighters about four days a month- it's just one Chicagoland job to the next.
