Don't count on it, their margins are cut to the bone now. Instead of losing $2500 a vehicle, with the rumor they'd be losing $30,000 every other vehicle. Doesn't sound too good....

Broadspeed.com did it in the UK. Someone was doing it in Belgium or Holland a couple weeks ago.. And a Miami company was doing it as well.

Desperate times.

YES it's true....A dodge dealership in Tucson was offering a dodge charger (base model I'm guessing) for $1 dollar with the purchase of a NEW car/truck.

There was a dealership in Illinois that was giving away a PT cruiser when you bought some sedan, only good for the 4 he had in stokk though.

Mostly gimmicks.

I saw this on TV. They were used PT cruisers valued between 9-11K. You needed to buy a Chrysler Pacifica at MSRP which is about 13K over what you get one if you went in and bargained. They actually sold 4 of these with this deal going on!! They extended the sale for, I believe, another 7 vehicles.

I know over Thanksgiving weekend you could by a Dodge Ram and get a Dodge Caliber free. I am sure they probably didn't advertise the erbates on the ram and applied that money towards the Caliber so it wasn't really free, but rather just a gimick.
