When I drove my Sahara off the lot, it came with bigger tires and gears than the x model, but I guess that makes it a mall crawler in comparison to an X model, jeez...

I've always been a Jeep lover and only recently bought my first jeep. I bought it used and to be honest I didnt care at all what type it was...rubi, sport, x whatever in the end it really doesnt matter because its the soul you put into the jeep. Its how you make it come alive. I think for most of use whatever model we have its all just a base for our beast to come alive. I love my Sahara

Nope not a mall crawler. More like my dogs personal taxi. He's always got me going to the trails, dog parks or pet store!!! Sadly he also put the first scratch on the door. Although that only encouraged me to one up him on a densly wooded trail!

Hmm....... A Sahara is a Mall Crawler?

Whoa. Started this thread before going to sleep and woke up to a hornet's nest! LOL

Honestly, nothing against Saharas. I'm actually targeting a JKU Sahara with matching fenders and hard top for my wife for whenever her Commander breaks down (insert plans for sabotage here). She'll probably like the luxury of a Sahara over a broke ass college kid Sport anyway. But a Rubi would be too 'lux. Don't want anyone to think we're looking down on anyone or anything

Ok what is wrong with a Sport? I bought it cause I thought it was a waste of money to buy all the bells and whistles just to take them off and have them replaced with aftermarket parts!

The majority of Jeep owners don't take theirs off road so I just most as mall crawlers, not just Saharas. But I do hate the Cole matching.. Just not my style but whatever floats your boat! As long as it gets used I appreciate your ride!

really? You have a way with words.. I was preapproved for $47,000 at Troncalli Jeep and Dodge. this is my 5th round of owning a jeep wrangler, I didn't need power windows or doors or even the overpriced mygig that people seem to hate more and more... As they literally opened up the show room floor doors to roll out a "custom" rubi that had every bell and whistle on it, I spotted an X sitting by itself with 1 mile on it. I do my own upgrades and I do my own mods, and I'm quite certain my X is far more capable of doing what I need it to...
