side steps
quick question, has anyone bought the factory side steps for their jk from Jparts, they have them for $188, I just want to make sure that they are the factory steps that come on the sahara and not something else, the pic on their site is wrong, they have a pic of the tj steps.

I bought mine from jparts. They always seem to have the best prices. They are the same as what come installed on the Saharas. I tried 3 times to buy them from our fellow Jeepers, but each time I got unanswered emails or the seller would back out because of not wanting to deal with the hassle of shipping them. I got tired of it and finally just ordered them.

I ended up getting mine from justforjeeps. jparts has a better price now.
I hear ya on the shipping issue. I ran into the same problem trying to pick up a used set of steps and some used BFG tires.
The for-sale board is great for small parts like tow hooks and such ... but anything bulky and it's "local pickup only." Kind of defeats the purpose of an Internet board when your search is essentially confined to jeepers in the surrounding couple-hundred miles.
No one wants to hassle with shipping large items even when the buyer offers to pay the freight. I can't really blame them, though. Boxing up a set of side steps could be a hassle if you don't happen to have a 6-foot-by-1-by-1 box lying around the house.
