Default Ski rack

Has anyone had any expierence with the Mopar or another ski rack on the JK?

I think the only way to use a rack is on the rear tire but am not sure.

Please give me some advice. THANKS!!!

This won't be much help, but from being on the forum for a while I know there are some threads on putting racks on the Hard Top. Search around for roof racks and hard tops, etc. Threads like this might help - https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-show-tell-33/jk-shots-ejs-2006-a-1/

I drilled my hardtop and added a Yakima rack. There are a few things I would change if I could, but all in all, I'm pretty happy with it. I don't use the rack very often, but I have Yakima ski mounts as well as a Thule box that will attach with no trouble at all.

I dont have my JK yet, but I'll be using the same one that I use on my Trailblazer... Thule hitch mount.

I use it for mountain bikes from May-November and snowboards (ski's too) from Dec-April.

I believe mine is the 995 hitch mount bike carrier + the ski/board holder which mounts to it... Not the cheapest but if you want to carry bikes at all too, this is the only way to go.
