All JK Unlimited X's, Saharas, and Rubicons have the 21 gallon tank.
All 2 door X's, Sahara's, and Rubicons have the 18 gallon tank.

Now how much is the Jeep in the first post? I'm guessing $31K

I don't think he wants to know whether to get an X or Rubicon, he wants to know what is a good price for THAT Jeep. Apparently that IS the Jeep he wants. I would recommend going to Edmunds.com and pricing it. Shoot for invoice + $3000 for the lift, tires, and wheels. Good luck.

Get the Rubicon! It gets better gas mileage and has more horsepower than the other models!

Don't forget to drill the mirrors to let the water out! Very important!

Ooops. I forgot what the thread was about!

What Renegade said. Except I would add less for the lift, tires and wheels. Dealers purchase accessories at a discount. The auto market needs sales and many of them are desperate. Aim low and negotiate from there. It helps if you go towards the end of the month - or even better the end of the quarter. Good luck!

Seriously though, don't forget to drill the mirrors.

fwiw I walked away with an unlimited stock for under invoice...deals are out there. My local dealer wouldn't budge from MSRP. Headed to San Antonio and bought an Unlimited 4x4 for under 22k.

That must have been a fun ride home from San Antonio to Corpus.

It is easy to get a car from $300 under invoice, and then you add the $1,000 bonus cash, very nice deals. I am holding out to see if they sweeten the pot at the end of the month.

get one under invoice with what you want and then build it..... it will be a lot cheaper and exactly what you want.

don't get anything with a dealer installed options unless you plan on getting ripped off. Buy it bare and get it done yourself.

Thanks for your input, and I am thinking it would be better to find a Jeep with everything I want, and then put on my toys.
I'd offer just below sticker...hoping to get them to sell it to you at sticker and get the xtras for free.
Good luck
