Swapping coils and springs.

What can I expect as far as ride, flex etc. by swapping my 2007 Sahara springs and shocks with those from a 2008 Rubicon. Both have the Towing Pkg. Right now I'm running the FT 2" BB with Teraflex shock extensions and the Teraflex extended sway bar disconnects. Only doing this for a while until I can afford a good lift. Any input would be appreciated. Will it be harsher On Road and better Off Road? Is there any height difference on the coils? Should I swap shocks only? Let's hear it .

I don't think that swaping your spring with a Rubi is going to change anything for you. The shocks are a little different but not sure enough for you to notice.
Just my thoughts though.

Maybe pull the part numbers off both sets of coils and see if the dealer has the spring rates?

I don't want to go overboard on this because my next purchase is your 3" lift. Trying to go Teraflex all the way. Finances not there right now.

The shocks from a Rubie are definitely better. If you look at your vin number, look at he 4th location. it should be a letter. If you have an "F" your springs are rated for 4-5k lbs. A "G" in the 4th space would indicate a spring rating of 5-6k lbs. It would be a little stiffer! (That's what she said! LOL):rotflmao2:

If it takes you an afternoon, you're doing something wrong!
