Default Stupid question - removing mirrors?

Okay, I apologize in advance. I *did* search and I *did* stand in front of my Jeep with my tool bag for about half an hour before I gave up and decided to take the ridicule. I'm a big girl.

How the !%(&$ do you get this things off??????

(Pictures, colouring books and small words are appreciated)

Thank you.

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. I was actually looking for a head smacking graemlin but I couldn't find that either.

Must be with the bolts that are holding my mirrors on.

Help is here: Here is a link to a PDF which contains colorful pictures and easy to follow instructions on installing mirror relocation brackets - which shows you how to remove the stock mirrors. Good luck and let us know if you still need some guidance.
