Tire carrier gerry can holder?

This may have been asked before, but I couldn't find anything. I skimmed through the expedition modded jeeps thread cause I thought there may be something in there, but didn't see anything.

So, has anyone ever built a bracket with a basket kind of holder for 2-3 Gerry cans that just goes onto the tire carrier lug bolts along with the spare? I was thinking about building one, but wasn't sure if I'll run into issues.

Not that I have ever seen. If it's how I'm imagining it, it might last 24 hours before all the tailgate welds popped off.

They make universal Jerry can /HiLift jack mount that mounts to the spare tire

I went after this before without much luck. Found a Jeeperman rack on the local CL...I recommend it.

This looks pretty cool. I can't zoom in without it getting super blurry. Anymore pics of it closer up and maybe of how it mounts?

Essentially a Gerry can made of plastic, yeah those could be used also, I'm just curious of a good way, and cost and weight effective of being able to carry additional fuel/water.
