Default Tough decision, two '08 Rubi's, which one to get?

Got my search narrowed down to two brand new '08 Unlimited Rubicons. Both are silver. One is fully loaded. Mygig, GPS, dual tops, power windows, locks, etc. I can have it out the door for $29,500. The other has a soft top, cd player with sat radio, no gps, manual locks and windows. I can have it for $26,500 and then have to add tax tags and title fees, but I'm sure I could get it out the door for $27,500. I'm leaning towards the loaded one. What's everyone think?

What's $2k??? Do it once do it right.... IMHO the dual top group is worth it right there. Good luck... and enjoy your new jeep whichever one you get.

go for the loaded one. i hear the unlimiteds with manual locks and windows are tiresome. always reaching back and forth, if you had a 2dr it wouldn't matter but with the unlimited i'd go with the power accessories. i wish i had a mygig to play with in my jk, but what i have rocks now anyways. and i have tom.

One more thing, don't call it a car the people around here are real touchy about that, something about pussy or cats and dogs, I don't know.
This will be the 2nd Wrangler and 4th Jeep I've owned. Def not new to the Jeep scene. My Last Jeep was an '04 TJ Rubicon. After owning a Mustang Cobra for the last 3 years I can't WAIT to get back into a Jeep!

They say everytime someone calls a jeep a car god kills a kitten.

At least that's what I've read

do what i did, get the dual top and sell the hard top for 1.5k and your set.

then again, living in california there's no reason for a hardtop. January and it's 75!

My best friend once told me to get what I really wanted and I woudn't regret the decision. I would say go with what you really want. A little extra $$ will be well spent especially down the road.

Get the loaded one if you are even considering it.

I would get the loaded Jeep if it's in the budget, ultimately only you know how you will use the Jeep and if the extra stuff will be useful to you.
